I think part of What's Going On with billionaires is that the daily friction of interacting with normal people is part of what anchors people to the real world, and once you have enough money to buy your way out of the friction you can knock down a load-bearing column propping up your sanity.

I think we all have to reconcile that - my girlfriend and bandmate is a psychotherapist 🤔
She tells me I mainly live mentally in the past or the future and find it hard to 'be in the moment' (she's right) 🫣
Best way I know to be 'present' is when music just flows out from within without thought 😄

I’m in Tohoku now. Outside, it’s snowing and about -3°C (22.6°F). I’m feasting on wild mountain vegetables, local fish, and wonderfully sweet local fruit, listening to folk music, and doing nothing but gazing at the scenery. It feels like giving all five of my senses a warm bath in beautiful things.
