A reminder that New Zealand’s business leaders are, in fact, deeply and fundamentally incompetent at reading economic indicators and run their businesses based on their political prejudices

That was probably me- I did a bunch of analysis in 2019 that business confidence for NZ was least correlated to their economy in all the world, matched party in power & PM gender and length of office, and we would all be better just looking at other countries confidence.
