I came back here after two months. What happened here? It seems to have changed a lot!

If ICE is deporting asylum seekers over tattoos and hand gestures, we might as well start packing up half of Los Angeles. Maybe focus on actual criminals instead of playing tattoo police.
I want you to understand this is happening in our name and we know most of these men committed no crimes. One is a professional soccer player who was tortured in Venezuela and was working through asylum in the U.S. ICE shipped him for his Real Madrid tattoo and a picture throwing rock & roll horns.

So the U.S. is pulling out of an investigation into war crimes? Interesting. Guess accountability is only for the little guys, not world leaders.
This is the story that Karoline Leavitt said probably wasn’t accurate when it was first reported by Reuters because she said they aren’t reliable.

If the Department of Education is so great, why are so many public schools failing? Maybe it’s time to rethink the whole system instead of just throwing more money at a broken bureaucracy.
Moments after President Trump signed an executive order aiming to shut down the Department of Education—something only Congress can do—Louisiana Senator Bill Cassidy said he would introduce legislation to accomplish the president’s goal.

If this is true, then it’s beyond disgraceful. Colin Powell was a decorated general and statesman erasing his name doesn’t change history, it just exposes the insecurity of those trying to rewrite it.

If the Department of Education is failing, maybe it's because it’s run by bureaucrats instead of people who actually care about education. Maybe decentralizing it isn’t such a bad idea states know their own needs better than DC ever will.
Louisiana Senator Bill Cassidy has introduced legislation to get rid of the Department of Education after Donald Trump's executive order.

Of course a Senator from one of the least educated states supports this.

So a judge finally put a stop to a government group going on a “fishing expedition” with people’s private data? Guess miracles do happen. Now do the IRS next!
BREAKING: A federal judge in Maryland has just barred DOGE from accessing Social Security, saying the group is on a "fishing expedition" that jeopardizes people's personal data.

This is an example of the crackpottery we face if RFK Jr. is confirmed as HHS Secretary.

Small amounts of aluminum in certain vaccines act as an 'adjuvant' that elicit some inflammatory response. This is good- the main vaccine component does not always gain enough immune response to fully work.

This is really interesting. Groundbreaking study on the value of libraries and “third places.”

“A whopping 82% of people who used the library’s physical space and 79% of people who physically attended programs reported more optimism regarding the future, compared to only 58% of digital-only users.”
Innovative Study by UPenn and NYPL Finds That Public Libraries Positively Impact Community Health and Well-Being
"Our research found that patrons experience refuge, joy, connection, purpose, and expansion through their library use"

“Just keep your kids off social media and the internet entirely” is an easy out for parents but impractical, socially bad for kids, and it doesn’t work. It’s like abstinence only sex ed. They’re going to encounter these things with or without your permission and better to prepare them.

Stand up for the LGBTQ+ community.

Wear a mask in solidarity with the disabled community.

Learn about anti-Blackness and commit to doing better.

Don’t let hate win.

NOW: More than 98% of #Costco shareholders have just rejected an anti-DEI measure

The attempt to force Costco to audit their #DEI work was by an anti-inclusion lobby group:

I’m hearing from constituents whose jobs are at risk because they do agency outreach to minority communities.

Consider what this means for public health, national security, agriculture and justice.

The war on DEI has become a war on public service and government for all.

So yeah, I'M the kind of husband that goes grocery shopping with his Wife. 😤

Deportation flights never stopped. The Biden Admin deported about 1 million people per year. Republicans never talked about that because it didn’t fit their narrative, and Democrats never talked about it because they feared it would anger part of their base. So ignorance ruled.

Because Bird flu, but 🤫 were not supposed to talk about it.
