For fucking real, media literacy could solve so many baseless issues on media that make headlines for no reason
Imagine if media literacy as a high school class. Literally teaching kids how to read and parse and fact check consumed media. I see no downsides. Maximum real life applicability.

the most important aspect imo of the community notes vs actual fact checking debate is how do community notes correctly identify misinformation during a live developing story where there’s more chances of bad actors and the general public doesn’t have an established trustworthy source yet?
