what monster did this????
screenshot of an ebay listing of a burroughs class 5 adding machine. it has a grid of keys in 10 columns and 9 rows with a readout register below all the keys. the rows are labeled 1-9 with their 9s complement in smaller text. normally the colors of the keys in each set of columns are the same, either black or white. the normal arrangement from right to left is 2 columns for fractions of 100 then the columns are grouped by 3s to match normal commas in numbers. this adding machine has a checkerboard pattern except for the left most column which is all white because of a lack of black keys. the worst part is the "keycaps" are not normally removable and you would need to spend hours on disassembly and reassembly. of course this pattern means you cannot quickly use the adding machine because the column colors help with accuracy

this is why you spell things correctly! the only difference is that the one on the right is missing the lever arm. you could stick anything metal in there and it should work.

the card embosser on the left sold for almost $300 and the one on the right sold for $13.99

phones should last longer than 29 months wtf??

the only noticeable changes from my iphone 13 pro max to the iphone 17 pro is a better camera and usbc.

i really prefer the non-max size which i can actually hold in my hand

woke up late and got some good sleep! went for a walk to wake up

could not get any work done this afternoon so i went for a walk and climbed up the mountain along the power lines
a photo as the sun sets looking down over a small lake held back by a dam. beyond the water are some mountains blocking part of the sun as it sets. the clouds are sweeping around the sky and with the lighting of a setting sun produce vivid colors

aurora in arizona!

only visible through the phone camera
photo looking north from the middle of the street. there is a glowing christmas tree blocking the street causing a green glare at rhe top of the sky. in the sky you can see some stars, wisps of clouds, and what looks like purple transparent clouds. the aurora isn't too bright or exciting but could have been earlier or will be later this is taken along the I-40 in arizona near flagstaff at 21:23 AZ time
