I think all this misses a pretty key fact, basically every Jewish space in America is hardened and in many cases under armed guard, has been for years now. And much of that is dependent on government funding

Nobody's claiming direct quid-pro-quo of course, but it sure looks like France's decision to recognize the state of Palestine helped facilitate the PA's arrest of a man wanted for one of the deadliest antisemitic attacks in post-war French history.

I've seen a lot of people on here in the past day or so repeat the line of "Arabs are Semites, too, so anti-Arab racism is also a form of antisemitism." This is and understandable mistake, given how weird the word is, but it's a misunderstanding of the word.
