I'm american but I had an xhs acc before all this&it's depressing how fast they're changing the ui to mimic tiktoks. it feels like we're gentrifying the app despite every american on there is saying they're a guest, don't want xhs to change for them and thanking the Chinese users for welcoming them

since everyone and their mother is now doing dual mandarin/english subtitles on xiaohongshu, the average post on there is understandable to more ppl in the world than the average post on any other platform lol
