One time as a kid I almost had Brendan Shanahan sign my jersey but Kevin Hodson cut in front of him & now I have a jersey signed by Kevin Hodson

Is this team actually good?

It feels like a mirage.

I completely forgot Mason Appleton was on the Wings roster.

I know this isn't a popular opinion with Red Wings fans.

I think Rasmussen is extremely under rated.

He's had some bad games this year, but most of the time, he does all the intangible things right. He's one of the best bottom six players in the NHL today

The current Wings line combos make it seem like we actually have a coherent team with good depth.

It's not just the top line carrying all the offense.

They look like a playoff team with room to grow.

Prediction: By December, Axel Sandin Pelikka will be the PP1 QB.

Seider is great back there, but ASP has better speed, hands & is better at throwing seeing eye shots on net.

2nd PP unit with Copp & Compher? That's a penalty kill unit.

Nygard, Kasper, Danielson, Buchelnikov, Mazur

Soon. Please.

Edvinsson & ASP drive a lot of offense when they're on the ice.

The power play is going to be lethal once they get more experience

Wouldn't mind seeing Nygard up on that top line while Raymond is out.

Impressed with Appleton on that line, but he's a known quantity. Good up and down the line up player. Good grinder. Solid defensively.

But...let the fans see what the new guy can do!

ASD still adjusting but good jump in with Kane.

Still deferring to pass in the O-zone when he has room to shoot.

Take the shot man!

Copp has really stood out these first two games. He may not be putting up the most scoring chances, but he's arguably been Detroits best player so far.
October 12, 2025 at 12:21 AM
Edvinsson and ASP are driving a ton of offense.

I haven't looked at the adv stats through the first two games, but I would not be surprised if they lead the team in offensive possession numbers.

Well...

At least hockey season has started.

I'm sure the Wings will be great...

Like a rerun of a show you like but don't really want to watch again.

If the Tigers are going to lose, I'd prefer it to not be a stupid loss. Stop hitting the batter!

I don't want to see "same ole Tigers" posts for the next 25 hrs.
October 11, 2025 at 5:04 AM
Hey...how about don't walk yourself out of the playoffs!
October 11, 2025 at 4:25 AM
These announcers are doing some heavy lifting hyping up the relief pitching instead of just saying...

"We're still here because neither of these teams can hit the ball. Their offense is just bootie."

This ump sounds like an old man that doesn't want to get out of bed.
October 11, 2025 at 4:20 AM
Fucking hell.

Am I too young to say I'm too old for this? This game is going to give me a heart attack.

C'mon Tigers. You've just been granted a gift from the baseball Gods (which is Tarik Skubal).

Let's go. Bring it to an end Riley Greene or give me a #torkbomb

Melton is a growing studs as this series goes on.

Skubal is the beast.
Melton is going to be a beauty.

Feels like the Tigers are going to have to get lucky now.

Weaker offense.
Now into the weaker aspects of their bullpen.

Facing a starter they couldn't hit in game 3.

Why Finnegan?
Anyone else would've been better

Averaging a pathetic 16 K/9 innings this postseason. Barely worth a billion dollars
Tarik Skubal strikes out the MLB's home run leader with a 101 MPH fastball on his 99th pitch of the night in the biggest game of his career.

Make this man a Tiger for life.

They need to leave Skubal in

For the love of the baseball Gods (which is Skubal) please do not bring in Finnegan.
