"you okay?" No. I realized I'm far more productive writing without music but I prefer listening to music while I write

Sometimes I feel guilty for being so slow on making music.

Then I remember I've been teaching myself to play and sing simultaneously, I've re-written my own material for acoustic, I'm practicing that every day, and I do guitar in a band that's finalizing it's first album soon.

I've BEEN working.

As an artist, I've learned that the better you are at drawing something, the simpler your line work becomes. You would think that better=more complicated, but from my experience, the opposite is true. Simple descriptive lines are insanely difficult because they have to describe the shape within.

I absolutely love the feeling of reading a good book, when the author reveals how fuckin clever they’ve been the whole time. I’ll never stop reading books 💙📚

sure, you've heard of chopin's scherzo no. 2.. but have you heard of clara schumann's scherzo no. 2? it's just as fascinating and has a sorta jazzy main theme to boot! 👀

you know, there's actually a sixth love language— it's sharing music, and it's my favorite among them all. what do you mean, i'd give the most sublime chopin pieces to just about anybody? recommending music is like surrendering a part of your soul.
