One of my favorite pastimes is when the dumbasses I grew up say “we can’t even take care of our own so we need to deport illegals” I ask them how we take care of our own and they almost always advocate for socialism or things people they voted for either tried to or have eliminated.

One of aspects of life in Japan I was not prepared for was how many mosquitos would have open season on me. My legs are like a Sizzler right now for them and I’ve even gotten a bite on my thumb. A thumb ! Seriously you little bastards ! Any recommendations on how to keep them away ?

Crazy … literally my second day living in Japan and people in my town are evacuating because of a tsunami warning. I’m safe as we’re at 11.5 meters above sea level but I only live a mile from the beach and there is a line of cars about that long to get to higher ground.
