We've been talking more people into getting hall effect sticks, so we've been messing with them more. Interestingly unlike carbon circuit potentiometers, hall effect pots are not interoperable between controllers.

Now here’s a display where seeing it in person *really* makes a difference. Physical multi-layer display in the back that the black and white game is projected onto. Gives it a genuinely three-dimensional experience; seeing a replica on a TV is so different.

Young people won't remember this, but there was a time when you could just play the Sims by clicking the icon with 'the Sims' on your desktop and it just booted up, without making you log in past three or four different EA players.
