Looking forward to finding out what you think! I quit Palahniuk a few books before this one (Lullaby exhausted me, DNF), but I bought this one a while ago because I like the premise.

That's so cool! I remember reading somewhere that one of the first comics to do it* almost didn't go to press because the editor didn't think kids would know it was a Batman comic w/o the normal logo.
*(Discounting all those Eisner SPIRIT comics, natch.)

Also: “James Bond is a code name” is a lazy and “continuity-first” retcon patch job that just doesn’t hold water. James Bond is James Bond, the son of Andrew Bond and Monique Delacroix Bond, and has been one character for 70+ years. Just tell a good story between the titles. It’s not a soap opera.
