Epstein mocked Trump for “leaving his nose print on the glass” while watching young women, wrote that Trump knew about illicit activity tied to Mar-a-Lago, and visited “many times,” and noted Trump’s planned visit to his neighbor Howard Lutnick’s house.

For the love of God (or for demoing basic-consciousness): There are no “criminals” or “illegals.” There are people who commit crimes. And “crime” is not synonymous with “harm.” And legality does not equate w/morality, fairness, integrity, or even evidence-based truth.

Use your words wisely.

Hours ago, @politico.com revealed that DOGE is working with DHS on automating mass deportation efforts — likely explaining why many US citizens, green card holders, and even a Canadian (in Canada) got threatening emails last night terminating “your parole” and telling them to leave the US in 7 days.

It's worse, the staffer is wrong. Call them back and say, show me the provision in the SAVE Act that allows using a marriage certificate to confirm a name change. There isn't one. The people who drafted the bill knew what that meant. They left it out on purpose.

Called my congressman who voted for the SAVE act.

Me: What documents will I need to vote if this passes?
Staffer: a DL and birth certificate.
Me: The documents don’t match
Staffer: Then a marriage certificate.
Me: Will my husband need the marriage certificate too?
Staffer: No
Me: See the problem?

Really important to know: right now, his lawyers cannot litigate the serious first amendment issues that the law creates. Those issues will actually not be appealable until they get to the circuit court stage.

Khalil can raise his constitutional arguments both in his habeas petition (still pending in federal court in New Jersey), and once he is able to challenge the immigration judge’s ruling in the Fifth Circuit.

It sucks that he can’t raise them before the IJ, but that’s (unfortunately) not unusual.

Welp, I guess the bare-bones letter from Rubio was determined to be “facially reasonable and bona fide.”

Note that this was largely expected; the standard is exceptionally deferential. This decision will be appealable up to the Board of Immigration Appeals, and then again to the circuit courts.

BREAKING: An immigration court determined our client Mahmoud Khalil to be removable from the U.S. based solely on his political speech.

The fight isn't over — we'll keep fighting for Mahmoud's freedom and all of our First Amendment rights in federal court.

Before folks overreact to headlines about the judge’s ruling in the Khalil case, please note that (1) it was an immigration judge (IJ), not a federal district court; and (2) the IJ had no power to consider Khalil’s constitutional objections.

This particular decision was a fait accompli.

Hard to compete with this
Sweeping tariffs are expected to raise the cost of cars, electronics, metals, lumber, pharmaceuticals and other products from overseas. But President Trump and his advisers are betting that it can sell an inflation-weary public on a provocative idea: Cheap stuff is not the American dream.
Trump’s Tariff Agenda Bets on Americans Giving Up Cheap Goods
Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent argues that the American dream is about more than cheap televisions, but inflation-weary consumers might disagree.
