Everything to do with AI is making me wonder if perhaps we do live in a simulation after all, one that tries to find out if AI could be prevented by installing a religion that forbids biting an apple of knowledge. I guess that idea didn't work. Now we have both AI and proud ignorance. #AI #ignorance

As a teenager, I had this fantasy: "when I retire, I will come to the library every day and read the complete Encyclopedia Brittannica end to end". At no point did it occur to me that by the time I will actually retire, paper encyclopedias might not even exist in libraries anymore. #nostalgia

Composer Tom Johnson died recently, and since I have just finished reading his book "Other Harmony" I decided to write a little choir piece starting from his list of Forte 5-27 chords (p. 90, fig. 5). Let it be clear that those chords were just a starting point...
