CVS is best thought of as a kind of interactive museum exhibit where you can experience everything that has gone badly wrong with American capitalism.
You almost have to respect how CVS keeps frantically changing their systems like every other month and each time it gets progressively worse

In a play development I could not have predicted, the four year old has appropriated our new clearance sale 60 inch skeleton and is using its light up eyes as imaginary bar code scanners in a game of CVS self-checkout

Fortunately our local CVS pharmacy has no problem with people who bike through the drive-thru.

The only downside to this is that when you pull up during their lunch break, the wait can be kinda chilly.

Was in a CVS yesterday and it was “cash only” because their systems were down.

Last time I paid cash for drugs was in high school.

They installed touchscreens at my CVS recently. I went in and the guy asked me to "start my check in on the screen" or whatever and I said no I don't want to do that. Then he had to type in my info on his computer himself and I felt like an asshole. This is how they get you. That's his exact job!

Just tried to get a prescription over the weekend and CVS didn't have it, and also didn't tell me that they didn't have it, they just didn't fill it. Also they have no way to find out if another CVS has it.

I farted in front of the laxatives at CVS. Please respond.

Don't worry though! After getting out of the ACA exchange business in 2018, then back in in 2021, they're getting back out of it again. CVS thanks you for giving everybody a good laugh as you scramble to try to understand how exactly one obtains medicine in the United States

Both Walgreens and CVS having signs up saying “Hey your pharmacist is a person please treat them like one, also do not threaten violence” is so fucking bleak

Only Walgreens can reverse-polarize me into going to fucking CVS*.

* Yes, I know there are alternatives. The closest independent pharmacy to me is about a 20 mile trip, and I commute by bicycle year-round. That's not practical for necessities, which a pharmacy for me is.
Is this good? It doesn't seem good.

My pharmacy tech at CVS! She’s also on Medicaid and really worried. SHE HAS A JOB and works really hard in the busiest CVS in my state! But please. Let’s have the CEOs and shareholders get richer by all means.

craziest thing about CVS is that they're losing market share to fucking walgreens. how dumb do you have to be that you aren't running circles around fucking WALGREENS???

Just on the basic issue of staying alive, I'd say you're wrong. The average CVS is full of OTC stuff that hadn't even been *invented* in the 80s.

CVS. Chill girl. lol.

Maybe he should wonder why the wealthiest country in the world has over 12% of pop on food stamps and desperate enough to steal razor blades from CVS
