J6 could have been the culmination of a dark chapter, a warning to future governments. Instead, the Democrats allowed it to continue.

The Second Civil War is here. It’s only a matter of how violent it will get.

I wrote about preparing the battlefield.

The Trump tariffs are "stackable," and so average tariff rates are higher than you're seeing in most media reports. Lemme 'splain.

Amidst all the handwringing about what Democrats should do to rebuild trust, Senate Democrats are looking to legitimize a major avenue of bribes being sent to Donald Trump. Will this help or hurt the trust rebuilding?
FYI: The Senate bipartisan stablecoin bill is poised for a resurrection next week, with crypto-friendly Dem negotiators agreeing to language that includes no new restrictions on the crypto businesses of Donald Trump and his family. They argue the bill is progress because industry would be regulated.

If the search of Luigi's bag was illegal, *and* they conducted a custodial interrogation without mirandizing, then neither the feds nor the state have a murder weapon.

But since the DA already tainted the jury pool with prejudicial details, there's a good argument that a fair trial is impossible.
So, local cops conducted a warrantless search of Luigi's backpack, realized they screwed up, admitted it on camera, put the backpack in a patrol car NOT sealed in an evidence bag (an 11 minute drive with no bodycam footage available), then searched the backpack again at the station and "found" a gun

I happen to know that some powerful media orgs were unhappy that AP filed suit; they thought the conflict with the White House would blow over on its own and that AP risked making bad law. The AP's leadership deserves a lot of credit for having proceeded as it did. apnews.com/article/trum...

While markets plunge and retirement accounts reel from Trump’s tariffs:

Elon and DOGE are taking a blowtorch to Social Security

They shut down local offices
They shut down phone services
They shut down website services
And now they’re proposing another round of mass layoffs

In their rush to destroy our government

The Trump administration fired the workers who keep our nukes safe

And-realizing how badly they screwed up

Are trying to rehire them

But can’t-because they don’t know how to get in touch with the fired workers

The incompetence is unprecedented
