AI automation =/= AI generation. the scripts to automatically transcribe voice to text or whether your party character prioritizes Attack or Defense isn't the same as algorithms generating randomized results out of an amalgamation of existing data. conflating them is intentionally misleading.

Hey, instead of yelling at people about not using Alt text, if it's really important with you, post the alt text in comments.

Accessibility is important, yes, but let's not forget that people have different levels of energy to provide them.

It is not always malicious intent.

i think the accessibility features on bluesky are great but because i don't use the platform often, i always forget they're there. whenever i post my art, i post the same thing on all my socials at the same time, so it's a lot of copypasting.

this user has been leaving this quote on several random posts from what it seems.
spikermonster replies: "i’m really not used to using bluesky yet, sorry. i don’t spend much time on here and i’m usually in a hurry, plus describing my own work just feels very strange to me so i get stuck trying to think of how to do it."

For real, I use this in my genetics lectures as a prime example of how not every gene an organism has is expressed in the phenotype by default. Everyone's got the blueprints to be something else, we just don't use them all at the same time.

each of us contains the full genetic instructions for both testosterone & estrogen driven hormone loadouts (along with varying combos of both)

this can be changed at any time. our genes will even start expressing themselves differently within ~3-6 months.

this is an existential threat to fascists.
