One of my favorite bits of #socialist trivia is that the man who wrote the US Pledge of Allegiance was a socialist.

It is starting. The world is shrinking under the feet of the leaders of Israel. They will not be able to travel, they are becoming parhia. Ignoring the ICC warrant could now make other countries formally complicit. A good warning for all those who are supporting Netanyahu.

A series of old favourites here. My mother taught me to read but, every Saturday morning, my father would read me a chapter of a Narnia book which made them all the more special. My father's long gone now but I still have the books and the memories. I think my favourite is The Silver Chair. Yours?
