Misunderstanding the meaning also doesn’t change it.

I feel like a burden every day, and that's brutal for someone whose survival mechanism most of their life was hyperindependence.

I feel less than. I feel abandoned and not wanted by society.

I think this is especially hard for Black women. We are so often holding up so many people, it's a full on network. When we need to set things down, we know it's often going to radiate out. But if we don't, we collapse and the whole system goes down for longer. Sending care because it's so real.
