The worst crime against the discourse that mainstream outlets like the New York Times have committed is making it sound like people who think certain groups shouldn’t have rights (immigrants, minorities, trans people, women, etc) have “controversial” opinions like it’s pineapple on pizza not bigotry

P.S, I don’t care if the Venezuelan boat was loaded with enough coke to get Don Jr thru Labor Day weekend, it’s not a capital offense without a trial and it’s damn sure not what U.S. Military should be doing. I’ve personally seen Trump hang out with well known narco traffickers.

Good heads up especially for media: do not take a bunch if correlations by motivated actors seriously. If they don’t preregister their hypotheses and data, chances are the results are spurious and cherry picked

So damn proud of these kids for their courage. 💥 Hundreds of Milford, MA high schoolers walked out in protest today after ICE detained their classmate Marcelo Gomes Da Silva. Detained on his way to volleyball practice. Illegally.
