I don’t think anyone is prepared for what they just did w/ ICE.
This is not a simple budget increase. It is an explosion - making ICE bigger than the FBI, US Bureau of Prisons, DEA,& others combined.
It is setting up to make what’s happening now look like child’s play. And people are disappearing.

This is true because there are more cis women than trans femmes/women, population-wise. And it forces policing on all women who are gender non-conforming. But let's not forget that it first and foremost was always meant to dehumanize trans femmes/women. Trans folx shouldn't have to keep saying this.
I said years ago that the rhetoric against trans women would affect more cis women then trans women.
I've been 100% correct. Cis women being beat up, cis women denied competition from sports, etc...

I fully expect civil unrest to start kicking into high gear by late May early June as the scale of these actions start to hit everyone. This summer is make or break for this country. If you have the means to leave, I advise you make those plans now. This won't end well.

my takeaway from reading 150 years worth of historical transit and planning documents is that the solutions have been known the entire time and studies are just a way for people who don't want change to waste time

I also was introduced to roleplaying through the Red Box D&D. Though, I'm 90% certain I had manufactured dice. My copy was, of course, used. So, the previous owner had no doubt replaced them.
I remember running the Basic Set solo adventure over and over again.

This was my first taste of D&D. Using a crayon to fill in the dice was one of my first core memory of gaming in general.
