T.J. turned 8 today. While she’d never know or understand this, her role in giving me a reason to want to wake up on days in the not-so-distant past when I wouldn’t want to otherwise cannot be overstated.

Through 48 games, the only guarantee with the 1991 Pirates on this Project Griffey save is that I cannot feel good about trusting the bullpen with anything less than an eight-run lead. Will that change in today’s stream?
