Of course. But being the party standing up for those fired will mean a lot to those fired and their families. It will also show the country that they are trying to bring order to chaos. And if they can get any Republican support at all, that's huge leverage for March 14
If they propose legislation, won't the majority Republicans just reject it? I'm thinking there is nothing Dems are going to get passed, nothing they can fight. I have to give it to Heritage Foundation... they planned all of this out so perfectly, Dems have been completely shut out. I'm disgusted.

Since fires destroyed more than 12,000 structures in Los Angeles, some residents whose houses did not burn down have learned that the FAIR Plan policies they bought may not cover the cost of removing all of the toxic chemicals, ash and soot that urban wildfires leave behind.
These L.A. homeowners had coverage for fire. But not for the toxins left behind.
Clashes over covering smoke damage have become a growing issue in recent years as wildfires intensify and home insurance companies look for ways to limit their financial risks.
