Hadn’t heard of #OursToProtect until this @brittlestar.com post. And it’s so very, very true.
The rule of law isn’t some abstract thing for lawyers and people who own briefcases.

Hadn’t heard of #OursToProtect until this @brittlestar.com post. And it’s so very, very true.
Thanks for this uplifting story about #Halifax & #BostonChristmasTree Challenging to be good neighbours/neighbors in these times but glad they’re keeping this tradition alive. (Now, back to boycotting.)
The boycott remains strong in Nova Scotia but the people of Halifax are keeping up the tradition of sending a Christmas tree to Boston.
@meidascanada.ca reporter Lisa Blackburn explains that Boston helped Halifax after the horrific explosion.

Just bought an electric range. A reviewer of this model says read the manual so that's what I'm doing. On p. 4: "Never attempt to dry a pet in the oven." Whew. Who knew, right? Now wondering how much I could get paid in the writing room of an appliance manufacturer. #writing #cats #dogs #safety
