Yes, the usage of ChatGPT is bullshit. But one of the things it indicates is a real disrespect for your own work: enough so that you can’t even pick up the book and read it again to make sure you didn’t leave prompts in it.

Trump said again he’s open to sending U.S. citizens to a Salvadoran prison. There is no constitutional basis for this—such an act would be a direct violation of the Constitution.

BREAKING: An immigration judge just ruled that Mahmoud Khalil can be deported on the paltry evidence submitted by the government — a 2-page letter that *admits* Khalil's conduct was not unlawful, but says his beliefs undermine "core American interests"

Chilling. They are saying that simply taking action in opposition to US foreign policy is grounds for deportation.

Think of the proud lineage of protests against US-backed wars, coups, torture...

We need fear to wake us up, but we need hope to take action. If you don’t have hope, though, spite is a pretty good motivator too. Just do whatever you need to not give up because we can’t afford for that to happen right now.

THE ONLY PUBLIC EVIDENCE of any "wrongdoing" by Rumeysa Ozturk is an *op-ed* urging Tufts to *follow student resolutions* to recognize the Palestinian genocide & divest from companies tied to Israel
Marco Rubio on Rumeysa Ozturk: "We revoked her visa ... once you've lost your visa, you're no longer legally in the United States ... if you come into the US as a visitor and create a ruckus for us, we don't want it. We don't want it in our country. Go back and do it in your country."

Sargassa is an EXCELLENT book to read in the midst of *all the things* so spreading the word! Read it, and then vote for it so it’s amplified and hopefully more readers can enjoy all it offers as well ☀️💕
It feels diabolical to be doing self-promo in the midst of *all this* BUT!

Consider this an official FYC post, as Sargassa is not only eligible for the Hugos and Nebulas this year, but long-listed for Best First Novel in the Locus Awards--and you, yes YOU, can vote right now in the first round. ☀️😎
