The entire argument that Sliwa and Adams should drop out would be moot with RCV.

If we are being honest, there are even fairly urban communities like Newark and The Oranges that are 1 hour to the CBD…few young professionals would ever consider living those areas while working in city.

The @rpa.org has been all over this but unfortunately it’s just a pipe dream. Most of the rail infrastructure is already built too.

But yes, clearly NYC metro would grow more if people could afford to live here. The region follows no central transportation and housing plan though.

... the problem is that we don't build transportation anymore and we make it impossible to build market-rate housing, and we've stopped building public/affordable housing.
No planner is surprised by how expensive cities have become, this trend-line has been apparent since the late 90s.
