Of babies infected w/Hepatitis B, 90% develop chronic infection.

Of those, 1 in 4 will DIE.

They lose the ability to get rid of toxins & make important proteins. Their skin yellows, their abdomen swells, they’re uncomfortable. A fate no one deserves.

One we can avoid w/ vaccination.

Why say “Medicaid reforms” when trying to kick people off of Medicaid?

To understand, @bychrisvazquez turned to an unlikely source: his high school English notes on ‘Language in Thought and Action’ by S.I. Hayakawa. The book can help answer: Why do politicians sound like that?

If your AI tool is soooo good I cannot even live without it, how come you gotta try to trick me into clicking on it or make it so I can't opt out of it? If it's such an incredible necessary product, how come I don't WANT to use it but am being BULLIED into using it? 🧐

Care for us? True indeed! They ne’er car’d for us yet. Suffer us to famish, and their store-houses cramm’d with grain; make edicts for usury, to support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act establish’d against the rich, and provide more piercing statutes daily to chain up and restrain the poor.

A Lithuanian equivalent to “there’s no such thing as a free lunch” is nemokamas sūris tik pelėkautuose. It means “the only free cheese is in a mousetrap”

Chatbots — LLMs — do not know facts and are not designed to be able to accurately answer factual questions. They are designed to find and mimic patterns of words, probabilistically. When they’re “right” it’s because correct things are often written down, so those patterns are frequent. That’s all.
