Was feeling super weird and ick on the last day of the Conference and was experiencing enough congestion to worry I was sick...

I am 95% sure I took melatonin instead of my multivitamin that morning plus allergies.

Oops! Now I feel regular post travel gross so...

Coming home from #ADHD2025 and man am I delighted to have slept in my own bed! The dogs are being extra cuddly and clingy. I had fun! Now I have to rest and reset.

Honoring Alice Wong's life and legacy with gratitude, in solidarity and sorrow, this morning. I was a fan; thinking of all who loved and knew her personally.

Alice's words speak to us still. As a chronically ill person, I will keep listening. What a beautiful, bold, *brilliant* life well lived.

I don’t want to formulate words yet, but my friend Alice Wong, @sfdirewolf.bsky.social of the Disability Visibility Project, has passed.

Sooo, if you are going to the ADHD Conference next week, please keep in mind that it might be a rough travel experience and have some plans in mind for how you'll handle disruption to your current plan.

Perfectionism has been a thing I've struggled with a lot. A reframe that's been helping recently is to think of success sort of like a Skills check from D&D. Particularly how BLeeM does them. Where you get varying levels of success based on how well you roll, from some success to massive success.

Happy Bisexual Day of Visibility!

In true ADHD form, I did not remember we were supposed to be perceived today, so I am wearing sweatpants. I did shower today tho, so that's a win!

There are a lot of benefits to working with me as your coach.

One of the smaller ones is that you will probably get shown one to two small dogs at some point during our session.

Not 100% sure how to talk about being not a late diagnosed woman in the ADHD space? Because 1. I'm non-binary and 2. I was dx'd in like 3rd grade despite having inattentive presentation.

Like it didn't end up helping a ton? But at least I kind of knew vaguely what was up for most of my life.

Nearly every person I have met with ADHD has expressed at one time or another a fear that they are "faking it."

And it always breaks my heart a little. Because so often it is when we are struggling with it the most that we worry.

Even though I have felt that way too.

After years of "doing the work" I've learned:

1. Didn't make me NeuroTypical, brain is still my brain
2. I have tools to reorient myself when I hit a bump in the road or things start getting shitty
3. Resilience is a skill you can practice
4. Sometimes shit still sucks but now I have skills

Don't know how NT folks feel, but with ADHD some of the worst questions to have to ask are:

Why is this sticky? (spill?)
Why are you/is this wet? (oh no)
What's do you have (in your mouth?)?
What's that smell? (about to be a problem)
Can you hear that? (bzzzzzz)
What did you say? (til ears work)

Today seeing it on a walk, zero effort to recall name - agapanthus

I mean, thanks brain, where was this information when I needed it? 😆

They released the Agenda for the ADHD conference in November and I've been having fun looking at all the options!

Last year was the first year I attended and I met so many cool people! I also was collecting fellow queer folks like it was my job. :P

I'm pretty excited. Who else is going?
