It's sad that the dollar is what drives this story, not the human suffering, the dignity, the loss of honor and culture across the entire service, the loss of skills and experience at the battalion level. Just money.

I know "Buffalo buffalo buffalo"can easily be expressed as an infinite regular expression. "Ships shipping shipping ships" has slightly more complicated rules, but I believe it may be regular with respect to the infinite Kleene algebra as well.
