Energy democracy advocacy by day, negocios de la acuicultura sostenible by night. Maine + Colombia + chasing our two sons and ten chickens.
If #Trump wasn’t splashed all over the #Epstein files, he’d have released them on DAY ONE, as promised — then had President Bukele of El Salvador tweet “Oopsie… Too late” if a court said not to.

I’ve always been proud that #Maine empanels equal numbers from each party to decide #redistricting.
In light of events in #Texas, sadly, we will need to make some adjustments.

Utility corruption gets the HBO doc treatment tonight. Featuring the utility that bribed its way into billion-dollar bailouts subsidized by people’s electric bills.

Good day to appreciate @cleantechfacts.bsky.social for all his work to document the saga in real time.

This makes a ton of sense. The CR is not the same as the House GOP reconciliation bill. Resistance takes smarts as well as courage. Thank you @golden.house.gov of #Maine for telling the truth and picking fights you can win. jaredgolden.substack.com/p/the-hollow...

Senator Mark Kelly was commander of the Space Shuttle. He flew four missions to space. He flew 39 combat missions in Iraq. He went to visit Ukraine for himself & is calling for its freedom to be defended.

So, Elon Musk brands him a "traitor".

I’m careful with language on this site.

Fuck Musk.

Eastern Seaboard electricity relies upon Ontario hydroelectric.

2003. There was a huge blackout from Ontario thru the Northeast and upper Midwest.

1965. A failure in Ontario turned off lights in NYC. 800,000 were stuck in the subway where conductors would tell them to stop smoking every so often.
Ontario is cutting off electricity exports to the U.S. in response to Trump's tariffs.

This is a huge problem as U.S. struggles to get enough reliable electricity.

Even bigger when you consider that Ontario is much greener than neighboring U.S. grids

Bigger still if Quebec follows suit.
