I have started writing. First piece is up.
So on the surgery front I am in less pain as long as I don’t move. Also woke up with a giant bruise under my belly button that I’m pretty sure wasn’t there yesterday. It’s the length of my hand.
It’s fine though. Most if the pain is on my side, where the gallbladder was and the two holes are made.

I have so much appreciation for The Pitt. No one has really captured the trauma of working in healthcare, of surviving working healthcare through covid, and coming back again and again. because it is about wanting to help, despite the assholes, the ugliness of humanity, and the unfairness of life.
