Next week in the Senate, our APPA committee’s report will be considered and we will be seeking support for our amendments to Bill S-2 to eliminate sex-based discrimination in the Indian Act - including the second-generation cut-off and reinstating the “one parent” rule.

Last week I was in Reykjavík for the annual Reykjavík Global Forum which is a gathering of leaders from politics, civil society, business, academia, and the arts all focused on one question: how do we move faster toward “equality in practice”, i.e., not just on paper. @donnadasko.bsky.social
