Israeli airstrike on UN headquarters in Gaza kills staffer, wounds five others.

Imagine if that headline involved any country other than Israel? It would rightly be internationally ostracised as the rogue state it is.

Instead, the West supports it in every way possible.

So sad to live in a country where the Taoiseach and government have been so historically incompetent they will just lick the arse of anyone who can provide them with an excuse to not look so incompetent.

Democracy is the best form of government except for all the rest, and also when you suppress the aspects of democracy which make it beneficial to working people

Money for guns, money for fighter jets, money for bombs.

But no money for homes, school places or hospital beds?

How many Irish forenames or surnames are used as slurs? I have one of them.

I have committed to not having notifications for this app. Because it shouldn't be a fixation or a feature in my life.

It's just like opening a book, or reading a newspaper. Social media should be controlled by me, not in control of me.

I find it so encouraging that a post celebrating Public Libraries gets so much celebration.

I don't use public libraries, but I really should use them a lot.
Public libraries are amazing!
Did you know you can borrow a book from any library in the country and return it to any other library?
Did you know they have subscriptions to huge amounts of national and international media that you can access?

Donald Trump says Europe is losing its wonderful right of free speech.

My European free speech ensures my right to call Donald Trump a weakminded, servile, fascist cunt

Nothing reaffirms the importance and validity of Ireland's neutrality more than the organised campaign to subvert it.

An Garda Síochána provide an invaluable service and should be supported without question.

If the force were disbanded tomorrow I would expect an influx of about 15,000 violent criminals for the state to deal with.

Anyone else get very distressed when they're physically tired and can't help falling asleep?

I sometimes feel like my lungs are failing and I'm dying

But I'm vaguely healthy? So it's dumb

Can't handle the internet right now. The world is just too awful.

So I'm going to be selfish and ignore it for a while.
