I’ve been doing a lot of thinking about how I use apps
One thing I’ve decided is I will no longer use any apps that have x days streak feature
Not Duolingo, not that “mental health” app, not a game like patience
None
I don’t care how “good” the apps otherwise are
It’s addiction 101 & I hate it

I’ve been doing a lot of thinking about how I use apps
One thing I’ve decided is I will no longer use any apps that have x days streak feature

I’m on page 29 and it’s already backing my constant need of the last couple of years to rebuilt a blog, 2000s style, and create a little online bubble…but I’m afraid that would be awfully lonely 😫

I don't know who needs to hear this, but if all you have accomplished thus far in 2025 is reading several books, drinking multiple kettles of tea, and consuming a scandalous amount of chocolate croissants, then you have accomplished more than enough.

I've started creating again after autistic burnout & Long Covid poked my childhood arthritis, which flared up in my hands (again)
I'm working towards doing a multimedia project on transformation in Cheshire & Scottish mythology
