Fireworks should be for licensed events only, stop selling explosives to random dickheads to set off in their gardens and terrify dogs.

This (Greens above Tories and Lib Dems by Dec 31st) was obviously not nearly a bold enough prediction given they polled ahead of both and also above Labour before we even made it to Halloween.

So let's get wild and say they're going to poll consistently in second place through December.
My bold prediction is that we will see this happen in at least one poll before the end of the year

Can politicians please stop promising to "work every day" on things? Weekends and holidays are important you weirdos!

I don't care about Powell winning the deputy leadership I just want to see those plummeting membership numbers. Not seen a breakdown of members/affiliates in the turnout figures yet.

Not only are we at record numbers of members and growing every day - this is our highest ever poll rating.

We're just getting started.

This is the politics of the 99% Vs the 1% for a country we can all afford to live in - plenty of room to grow.

Fuck, who let this clown in the cockpit of a plane? The guy can't even reverse a lorry safely.

Very funny imo that having watched various Prime Ministers implode doing stupid shit to appeal to their base, Labour's big move is to instead do stupid shit that their own base absolutely hates, with predictable results.

I have come to the conclusion the EHRC guidance on single sex spaces should not even come to Parliament. It is misleading and has caused distress for my trans constituents.

I urge @bphillipsonMP to reject it on grounds of practicality and human rights.

That one dril tweet except Starmer is ignoring the audience entirely and just twirling the racism dial to his heart's content.

Ginger biscuits, dunked in coffee.

Even better if they include dark chocolate, but most seem to be either a half dip (I.e. a dipped semicircle) or fully coated. What I really want is just the underside coated, like a chocolate digestive.

If anyone knows of such a biscuit, let me know.
In need of levity. Quote with your favourite biscuits/cookies and how you like to enjoy them.

Two of these bad boys with a freshly brewed coffee are a delightful treat. (Vanilla syrup in the coffee if I've been extra good, which of course, I always am.)

The scenes on our streets are shameful consequences of decades of austerity - government after government fanning the flames of anti migration instead of tackling inequality.

We can & must make different choices. Solidarity to all communities under attack. We stand together.

Great to see @zackpolanski.bsky.social and @richardburgon.bsky.social at TUC fringe speaking on a wealth tax.

Was he drunk when he wrote this?

My handwriting is shit but come on.
genuinely classy hand-written letter from Starmer to Rayner with the sign-off “best wishes and very real sadness”
