It takes an obscene amount of hubris to lecture the BBC when you have The Telegraph’s record on truth-telling.

Some of the paper’s errors this year are so bad they’re almost laughable 👇🏻

Imagine having a life so small and inadequate that it would be improved if there were fewer black people in Sainsbury's ads.

Oh no.
It is with profound sadness that The Yorkshire County Cricket Club announces the passing of Harold Dennis “Dickie” Bird MBE OBE, one of cricket’s most beloved figures, who died peacefully at home at the age of 92.

So let me just try and understand this then...
Is the Spectator outing themselves as the impending Nazis. Or do they mean something else 😮?

@moremorrow.bsky.social - are you part of the team org ResearchEd Cornwall?
I made a submission to present early August on website and haven't heard anything back. I'm not precious and if it's a no that's ok but I've heard nothing and have chased a few times...and I'm beginning to feel bad chasing!

We did it! We completed our 500th Royal Tunbridge Wells parkrun and hope you all loved it as much as we did.
We had a sea of blue for the milestone, a selection of park life-themed fancy dress, and record-breaking attendance of 486 participants and 71 volunteers. Thank you and well done all...

Last day of the summer holidays.
I start a new job on Monday, and it isn't in a school...I've finally managed to get a job outside of the daily grind. Headship over COVID, an unpleasant transition to a large MAT, an overseas stint and an interesting time in special measures in E.Sussex sees me out.

According to Strava I'm the fittest I've been for 1 year.
I'm also the fattest, so I'm uncertain how that's worked out.

Big news @rtwparkrun.bsky.social
If I manage to get out of bed for the 500th event next week I tip back to having TW as my home Parkrun. No more can I claim Cape Pembroke, the Falkland Islands as my most attended Parkrun.
I'm going to miss being able to claim this! I don't miss the wind though 😂.

Your opportunity to contribute to parkrun this Saturday!

We're in need of several more marshals, and several to help with closedown at the end of parkrun. If you may be able to help, please get in touch with us at royaltunbridgewells@parkrun.com

Just finished reading 'The Tour, the cyclist and me,' by Pippa York and David Walsh.
Sensitively written and sad, which is something I'm not sure I've said about anything David Walsh has previously written.

I’ve mulled over posting this for months now. But yesterday it came to a head. And I’m aware that the people who need to see it will either not be here, or will suggest that I’m lying.

I live near an asylum hotel. The reason I didn’t post earlier is that I didn’t want to raise undue attention

I'm 2 days from completing my 23rd year in teaching, and my last.
It's been a blast - but the time is right. It was probably right a couple of years ago. I've found the last 8 months especially difficult
I'm becoming the Learning and Development lead for LLSE so won't be out of education completely

RD Benny was in charge today, as 289 5k-yers and 41 volunteers flocked to Dunorlan Park. Conditions were hotter than last week so those 28 PBs were very well earned.
And a warm welcome to our 38 first timers. Here are the results: www.parkrun.org.uk/royaltunbrid...

This day, last year.
A misleading sign, seeing as you need to drive through Johnson's Harbour, to get to Volunteer Point 😐
Estancia is famous from the 'Yomp' but on this drive I was visiting an SBS memorial with a veteran.
