NYC voters actually have a chance not to be mentally checked-out dopes. We should not squander it.
Andrew Cuomo, who leads in the mayoral polls, has a Trumpian belief in his own spurious talents and triumphs. His election would likewise be a disaster for everyone subject to his rule.

We can talk about who should be the next mayor of New York City just as soon as we make sure that there is not one living resident of NYC who has not heard the sentence "DON'T RANK CUOMO."

I know this isn’t funny, but it feels like a big part of working in any kind of art lately is splashing around all the singular, wonderful work being made by brilliant people while ignoring the seemingly ravenous public appetite for absolute goat shit.

In other news, my kids were bored with RED ONE. We tried, but they only lasted for about half the movie. Also, I read it cost $250 MILLION DOLLARS to make. Something about that nfuriates me. Such an obscene waste. They could've funded 25 filmmakers with $10 million each. Alas. America.
