A reminder to fellow Europeans: It's not about tariffs. We had a 1.6% tariff on imported U.S goods. Trump is not here to make us get rid of that 1.6% tariff. He wants to force us to deregulate our agricultural sector into buying American meat, and kill our renewable energy reforms for American oil.

It's evil, but let's be blunt: U.S. foreign aid was not born of compassion. It was born of the undeniable fact that the U.S. benefits from global stability and is endangered by global instability.

The Trump admin is putting cruelty ahead of our strategic interests.

I am a climate scientist and this is correct ⬇️
Occasional reminder that there’s no, “it’s too late, its over” for anthropogenic climate change. Every molecule of CO2 that doesn’t go into the atmosphere makes a difference. Preventing 0.1 degree of warming makes a difference. Every bit of climate resilience we build together makes a difference.

The plan is to create a European army with France, UK, Italy, Poland, Baltic states and everyone who seeks to join.

GLP-1 hormone research goes back to the 1970's, its testing to treat diabetes goes back to 1993, phase II clinical trials for Ozempic go back to 2008.

Your desire to see others punished for losing weight 'the wrong way' is ignorant, mean spirited, and most importantly a tired & lousy joke
can’t wait for all those class-action lawsuits in 5-10 years when we see what the actual long-term effects of ozempic are

yeah I think the reason horseshoe theory is basically accurate is that a lot of people select their politics based on the feelings those politics give them and extremist politics on both ends mostly allow people feel burning resentment against slightly different groups of powers-that-be

Watched The Color of Money last night and it's just so awesome how even in a "lesser" film, Scorsese's blocking is always spot-on 100% of the time.

People should call him an Assadist for the rest of his wretched life.
