Seriously, Gohan shoulda stuck with Piccolo after the Frieza Saga. Maybe the psychological trauma of said mentor's training style had a part in his decision to do otherwise...

This racism and harassment for being a Flipnote artist is doubly ironic when video game cartridges (Jerry Lawson), 3d glasses (Kenneth Dunkley), and real-time 3d images (Valerie Thomas) were all invented by black people 💀

The Keidran are right, y'know:

It is blindness, not bravery, to cast life aside
When sabers slash & you bear but a sling
Or amidst wizards wands when you're only a weaver.
Fight as you can with what you ken,
But to die means your side is two hands weaker.
There's wisdom to stand in reserve & abide.

I was reading she visited NI when younger as a youth/peace worker. Horrific what is happening in America. 😞

Coiro is a bit archaic, though, "couro" is way more common in Brazil and Portugal, but I think galician preserves it as coiro.

I always thought strange the country name Argelia in Spanish vs Algeria in English, this is an example?

Looking at the photo of the coat, it looks like it was meant for a much narrower model. Pretty sure it was meant to worn closed by means of lacing.

None of this takes away from the fact that Billy was a tenacious & courageous fighter and a brilliant politician.

I recall seeing a waistcoat of Billy’s on a Lucy Worsley programme & even she commented on how small it was. He had been a sickly ‘delicate’ child &, as an adult, was somewhat stooped and seems to have been well below 5’7”. Certainly his wife was much taller than him.
