After ma's fall on Sunday i thouhht id make her lovely fresh pancakes today for breakfast. She bit one, looked as if i'd added cat litter to.the recipe and snarled " you put eggs in this " and threw it in the fire
Well, it's the only recipe I had.
Ive a lot of pancakes here from that backfiring!

Can I just say what utter angels DublinCoach are, the big green buses. Who managed to change my ticket Dublin to Limerick to next week as with ma I cant get down this week.

18th and 19th c Presbyterians often held services in irish and/or Scots Gaelic. Theres a rather wonderful wee book by the @ulsterhistory.bsky.social ( doing the Lords work as always!) which details this.
