Writing about fashion. Writing about other things. Zoë not Zelda. She/her.
And I learned how to write.

Girls' school was great for all of these things.

I was very good at math and science, but I also loved learning about literature and history.

Do you know how to analyze a novel? Have you learned about any part of world history?

All of these tech bros have no friends because they're assholes.

Again, my friends who were PhD students at MIT loved many things. We talked about fantasy book series. We sailed on the Charles. We sang karaoke. We played cribbage.

So many things are fun. Watching a silly movie. Going to an art museum and losing yourself in a painting. Cuddling a baby.

Things I've learned from studying American politics and reading a shit ton of history books:

1) We've never had a "great" POTUS.
2) SCOTUS has almost always been conservative.
3) Every right for minority groups has been achieved through protest, and death is often involved.

My politics degree has mostly been useful in making me extremely pissed for the past two decades.

WWI led to the death of MILLIONS of young men on both sides. And mostly for like bullshit fights between European countries.
