This was genuinely fun to listen to. Everyone in The Doobie Brothers looked and sounded like they were enjoying themselves. And that sax!

I am just now learning of @npr.org great Susan Stamberg’s passing. I love her voice; it was THE sound of public radio for me when I first started listening. I hope to hear her recipe for cranberry relish this year on @wuft.org

Oh gosh, @totalvibration.bsky.social talk about bittersweet: I, too, loved my ex’s mom. What a wonderful woman. And I hope she knew it, rest her soul. Thanks for the feels. ❤️ (Re: your comment on Kate LeBon’s album during @npr.org All Songs Considered: New Music Friday.)

Why does this new bottle of All Free and Clear laundry detergent (right) list ethanol as an ingredient, while their SmartLabel listing does not? Also, 73 fluid oz as opposed to 88 (current bottle, left), but still 49 uses.

It’s clear to me that from Robin’s tone, snide asides, and references to the Doobie Brothers that he has mixed Roséwave up with Yacht Rock.

ICE raids home, takes all the family’s cash and phones — even though they weren’t the suspects the officials had a warrant for. A woman and her daughters, made to stand outside in their underwear during search of the home. 😢 If you’re not getting worried, you’re not paying attention.
Please highlight this story.

ICE stormed into the wrong house, trashed the place, and made women/girls stand outside in the rain in their underwear. ICE also stole phones, laptops, and cash savings from the family, who moved to OKC two weeks ago.

In Bolivia, Indigenous communities are protecting forests & boosting incomes with a sustainable value chain.

With support from @FAO.org, they are turning local knowledge into green livelihoods & preserving their resources for future generations.

Felt moved to donate bc I have friends, also with a trans child, who had once hoped to move back here to Florida but now feel that it’s impossible. As much as we miss them, we agree. 💔 Good luck to Winston and his family.
I replied to this last night and I'm going to send one more slightly desperate post now. My ex is really terrified of this move and this fundraiser is basically the only carrot I have. Every dollar makes it easier for me to get my trans daughter to safety before puberty. gofund.me/8664c1dc
