i'm very slowly healing my relationship with the idea of the unseen audience (and i say idea because man almost everything i struggled with for years was something i reinforced in myself and no matter how supportive other people were, i rebuked it. i wasn't ready anymore.

i think the absolute weirdest thing for me about reclaiming my art for myself and learning how to draw for my own enjoyment is the realization that i can just do whatever i want. like there's the 15-years old impulse to make something "more marketable" or whatever but man. healing from that. wild.

there is something immensely beautiful about creating for fun instead of profit. i feel like a human again in a weird distinct way. i missed this feeling i tell you what!!!
