The thing most people don’t seem to realize about big companies rolling back their DEI/Pride positions isn’t because Trump and MAGA came along and gave them permission to be terrible. The factors that motivated those positions in the first place are the same now.

Yes, the American healthcare system is a shitshow.
But people who post this meme completely miss the point of what was driving WW in Breaking Bad. His rich friends who screwed him over offered to pay for everything but he was too proud.
It was much much more about his ego.

I used to identify as conservative/Republican. I defended the party and thought like this guy here. But as soon as Trump started winning primaries in 20fricken16 I knew shit was off the rails. Anyone just now figuring this out…you are not smart.

This is the supreme irony of the MAGA schism over H-1Bs. Many workers who stayed at Twitter after Musk’s takeover did so because their status in the US was contingent on their employment. They kept a site running that was then used by MAGA folks to question why they were here in the first place.
