I helped build Landsat 8. You might not know what Landsat 8 does but every time you open a map on your phone you’re using data from that satellite. We don’t just build “science” satellites, we build stuff we all rely on every day.
I see the incredible science, innovation and opportunity coming out of ESA’s Earth Observation program. Sad that this will no longer be a priority area under NASA’s new leadership.
