I was really hoping for a true Christmas miracle this year, but I guess America still can’t have nice things? 😕 IYKYK…

It’s very American to shame the woman more than the guy.
I think some sympathy and self-criticism is not out of place here, but you do have to find a way to acknowledge that the main reason the video went viral in the first place is because it was very funny
At a Coldplay concert in July, Kristin Cabot appeared on the Jumbotron in the arms of her boss. Cabot retreated, trying to make things right with the people who mattered most. Now, for first time since that viral moment, Cabot is sharing her side of the story. trib.al/I8tWdU4

The NFL can afford to go to a 50-man game day roster, a 10-man practice squad and a greater percentage of guaranteed salary if they want an 18-game season so badly. Callous greed is why it pushes the latter at the expense of the former.

If you’re a fan of outdoor Christmas lights…well, you can thank Denver for that. You’re welcome America!

When you find yourself agreeing with Rand Paul more than a third of the time, you start to question whether we’re now living in a simulation or if the rest of the GOP has become that unhinged?
Rand Paul on mid-decade redistricting: "I think it's gonna lead to more civic tension & possibly more violence in our country. Think about it: if 35% of Texas is solidly Democrat & they have 0 representation, how does that make Democrats feel? I think it makes them feel they're not represented"

The question is not whether or not the Trump administration is authorizing and committing war crimes. (And many other crimes.) The question is what our government is going to do about it. That’s the piece that’s missing in Trump 2.0.
Himes: "What I saw in that room was one of the most troubling things I've seen in my time in public service ... any American who sees the video that I saw will see the US military attacking shipwrecked sailors."

I listen to the NYT The Daily pod all the time while I work. Generally, they do a great job. But their weakness is one tied to the Times itself…as “the paper of record”, they tie themselves into knots to be as inoffensive as possible. It makes many people think Trump isn’t racist or senile—

More of this please:
Costco has sued the Trump administration for a refund of the tariffs it has paid on imported goods, should the Supreme Court rule them illegal, becoming one of the largest companies to challenge President Trump’s sweeping levies in court. nyti.ms/4p8L0PL

Just because our SCOTUS says the President is above the law while in office (basically…and how did this work for Biden?), him authorizing the murder of foreign citizens and making war plans against Venezuela without Congressional authorization should be at least worth a conversation, right? #Trump

Pedophilia is not party specific. And Trump is all throughout the Epstein Files that the general public will never see most of, vote or no vote.
Good little soldier parroting what she was told to say in The Situation Room.

I have no sympathy for 2024 Trump voters…

Also…the news media is predictably making a meal out of Trump’s about face on releasing the Epstein Files, but there are so many ways that this can and will still be obfuscated that it would be foolish to think Trump ever pays a price for what’s in there.

Removing a monument honoring Black US soldiers has nothing to do with DEI. It’s erasure of history and it’s straight-up racism.

Dogs talking would be cool, but if cats could talk I imagine most of them would sound like Paul Lynde on a bender…and it would be hilarious.
Am I the only one who really wishes dogs could talk?

The GOP has always been uninterested in providing any government services that aren’t military and border enforcement. (See…Project2025). And if Mike Johnson opens the House, that pesky vote on the “Epstein Files” awaits.

I dunno, maybe no one, 0% of people, should support a president that would starve his own people, threaten war in a half dozen countries, solicit donations to fund an executive mansion ballroom no one asked for and who is openly racist and anti-free speech?

Remember: The richest 1% evade over $160 billion in taxes every year.

That amount would fund SNAP for a year with money to spare.

Ask yourself who the real freeloaders are.

Forget No Kings…at this point I’d settle for an administration of No Trolls. Or at least one that didn’t actively hate all the people they’re supposed to govern. Even Putin or Kim Jong-Un wouldn’t post something like that to their social media.
and another thing: he’s not mad. please don’t put it in the newspaper that he got mad.

Awful lot of free promotion of the #NoKings protests this weekend from the administration. I wonder who’s perhaps eager to try out their “plenary power” theory this weekend? Be smart my protesting friends…
Bessent is pro-kings.
Bessent: "This crazy No Kings rally this weekend, which is gonna be the farthest left, the hardest core, the most unhinged in the Democratic Party, which is a big title. No Kings equals no paychecks."

Honestly, any true Christian wouldn’t demonize another person who is fighting for what they believe in if they’re sincerely trying to help other people. And anybody who is truly trying to use tech to advance humanity and not just their wealth understands a need for oversight. 🙄
