A friend of mine was a producer on an inside baseball political docuseries and I’ll never forget her telling me MTG was the scariest politician she met. Super cold and calculating beyond the wacky antics. If she was unafraid to jump ship the boat might really be sinking.

Watching someone go from normal to a millionaire and then to a multi-multi-multi-millionaire in about 6 years was one of the most eye-opening experiences of what wealth can do to a person and their perception of reality and rules.
Guillermo del Toro on wealth: "a wealthy man is a man who has enough, not a man that needs more. If you have enough to invite someone for a beer? You're rich. If you have a yacht, planes, islands, and you still need more? You're not rich."

-- Nearly half of recruits couldn’t pass an open-book written exam.
-- Recruits "are supposed to attest" they can pass the physical-fitness test, which requires them to run ... 6 mph.
