Housing development in Madison, WI is controlled by private interests. Supply-side economics doesn’t work in other sectors and it certainly doesn’t work in real estate
There are people who would call me a "NIMBY" for wanting more public housing. A dark money group backed by real estate (Open New York) pushed the conversation in this direction and made it toxic online. This is the first sign I have seen of a better change.
Anytime somebody's housing plan gets attacked as "impractical" by the Real Estate People you should probably assume they're on to something
