Nothing haunts me quite like the knowledge that somewhere there exists a set of drives holding hours of unused and unseen footage from the show.

Cut scenes, bloopers, improv takes that go on and on, alternative angles, photo shoots of scene moments for promo, etc etc etc etc….

I sometimes can't believe we got the show Our Flag Means Death. They just casually dropped two seasons of the most hilarious gay pirate comedy romance sitcom with the most insane emotional highs and lows. And then we had to just go on living and move on into the hellscape that was 2024 and 2025. ☠️

I love how many things exist on my phone just because I’ve made them for some goofy day we had. Some purpose or joke that I can no longer recall.

I’m ambivalent about auctions around Our Flag that don’t benefit an independent artist or larger cause.
