Its handsome septagonal chancel ceiling was described as "unique" in the sales brochure, but reports on the planning application describe the building, less than a year later, as "derelict" and in "disrepair".

A worthy #Woodensday example too of Georgian timberwork pews and U plan gallery. The wooden font is simple but elegant.

Both Southend and Saddell are part of the united South Kintyre Parishes group, along with Campbeltown.
